Originally from Brazil, Ana has been in the United States for 29 years, graduating from West High School in Torrance. While still in high school, she found her passion in dental hygiene and became a Registered Dental Assistant by attending classes at the Southern California Regional Occupational Center. Ana’s path after high school, took her to working full time and attending community college classes at night until being accepted to The University of Southern California Dental Hygiene Program. Ana excelled in the program and even became a clinical faculty member at the USC Dental Hygiene Clinic for 13 years. Ana is very passionate about preventative dentistry and shares her knowledge with every patient she sees. Ana has been married for 18 years to her husband Ken and they have two dogs: Rio and Dodger. She loves to travel and, when at home, she and Ken love to explore Los Angeles’ many amazing new restaurants.
